This July comes packed with events for all tastes: popular festivals at yacht clubs, summer markets in ports, and ongoing fishing competitions, canoeing, and regattas.

• TROFEO VIRGEN DEL CARMEN // July 10–11 – Organizer: Club de Vela Port d’Andratx

Description: Beginner sailors from the sailing school gather in the waters of Andratx to compete in Optimist, ILCA 4, 420, and the veteran classes Cadete and Galeones.

• ES CALÓ WINGFOIL SERIES // July 11 – Organizer: Club Nàutic s’Arenal

Description: The beach of Es Caló de Sant Antoni hosts the fourth day of this Wingfoil competition.

• LLATINA I MESTRAL // July 11 – September 28 – Organizer: Museu Marítim de Mallorca

Description: The Maritime Museum in Port de Sóller hosts this pictorial project by Alberto Baraya, painted aboard the “Brandó”, a traditional Mallorcan llaüt.

• BOTTOM FISHING DAY // July 12 – Organizer: Club Nàutic Cala Gamba

Description: A new fishing day for club members.

• CHILDREN'S FISHING MEET-UP // July 12 – Organizer: Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita

Description: Part of the club’s festivities, this event is dedicated to young anglers.

• ARENAL CUP – 6 METRES // July 11–13 – Organizer: Club Nàutic s’Arenal

Description: The 6 Metre class races in Arenal in the third round of this regatta series.

• SA RÀPITA FESTIVITIES // July 11–13 – Organizer: Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita

Description: A weekend full of activities celebrating the club’s 55th anniversary.

• BALEARIC CHAMPIONSHIP – CANOE SPRINT (YOUNG TALENTS) // July 12–13 – Organizer: Balearic Canoeing Federation

Description: Baleares’ young paddlers (pre-benjamín to cadet) meet in Alcúdia for this regional championship.

• BLUE MARINA CLEAN-UP // July 13 – Organizer: Puerto Portals

Description: Puerto Portals invites the public to join a clean-up of the marina and nearby beaches.

• TROFEU FERRUXT // July 15 – Organizer: Club Nàutic Colònia de Sant Pere

Description: Optimist, Optimist D, Laser, Laser Pico, Laser 4.7, and ILCA 4 & 6 classes compete in a new edition of the Ferruxt Trophy.

• THE SUNSET MARKET // July 9 – August 7 – Organizer: Puerto Portals

Description: Every Wednesday and Thursday, enjoy a summer market with fashion, design, accessories, and home décor stalls.

• NORTH SAILS SUMMER SERIES // July 16 – Organizer: Club Nàutic s’Arenal

Description: A new session of the club’s social regatta series for cruisers and B/One boats.

• SQUID FISHING DAY // July 16 – Organizer: Club Nàutic Cala Gamba

Description: The club holds its fourth fishing day of the year.

• REGATARDE // July 17 – Organizer: Real Club Náutico de Palma

Description: ORC cruisers, one-designs, Snipe and OK Dinghy classes race in the fifth session of the club league.
