Three golds, one silver, and four bronzes for Es Nàutic at the III Balear Sea Kayak Cup

Es Nàutic sent 16 athletes to the XXX Volta a les Illes Malgrats, securing third place in the club rankings. This was the final race of the season.

Last weekend, the III stage of the Copa Balear de Kayak de Mar – XXX Volta a les Illes Malgrats – was held in Mallorcan waters. Club Nàutic Sant Antoni, which sent a total of 16 paddlers, won eight medals and finished third in the club rankings. The athletes set off from Santa Ponça Beach, in the municipality of Calvià, covering distances of 3,000 meters for the infantiles categories and 8,000 meters for the rest.

Es Nàutic paddlers earned three gold medals: Álvaro Rubio–María Gallego (SS2 Mixto Senior), Lara Ribas (SS1 Mujer Infantil A), and Júlia Roselló (SS1 Mujer Infantil B). Gabriela Mendes won a silver medal (SS1 Mujer Infantil A), and the remaining four medals were bronze: Albert Solé–Neus Mateu (SS2 Mixto Veterano), Sigifredo Felipe (SS1 Hombre Junior), Laura Rubio (SS1 Mujer Infantil A), and Joan Ramón (SS1 Hombre Veterano 55–59).

Notable results also included 4th place for Liam López (SS1 Hombre Infantil A), 5th for Odalis Posado (SS1 Mujer Infantil A), 5th for Saúl Calderón (SS1 Hombre Infantil B), 7th for Toni Llorens (SS1 Hombre Cadete A), 7th for Marc Tur (SS1 Hombre Infantil B), and 8th for Henk Brinkman (Hombre Infantil B).

In the club rankings, the first place went to Real Club Náutico de Palma (464 points), followed by Club de Vela Port d'Andratx (287 points), and CNSA (240 points). On this occasion, Es Nàutic sent a smaller team than in previous editions due to the date of the competition.
