This is the weather forecast for the weekend

The first thing we all check before the weekend arrives is what the weather will be like.

That’s why, on Passion for the Sea, in collaboration with Àngel Muñoz, creator of Meteo de les Illes, we bring you the weather forecast every Friday so you can plan ahead and enjoy the sea with all the information you need.

The weather situation this long weekend in the Balearic Islands will be marked by the arrival of northwesterly winds starting on Saturday, generating waves between one and a half and two meters. This episode will also be accompanied by ‘calima’ (Saharan dust haze), leaving a whitish sky across the archipelago.

For this reason, at Pasión por el Mar we recommend exercising extra caution when carrying out outdoor activities and always checking the weather forecast before heading out to sea, especially on the days with stronger winds.
