These are the winning photographs of 'Mi rincón favorito de Magaluf'

The initiative is settled inside the “Mi rincón favorito” project, which unites municipalities of the whole country and that will give out national awards.

The “Mi rincón favorito de Magaluf” contest, organized by Calvià’s Town Hall, has announced this Monday, September 22nd, its winning works: the first award, endowed with 200 euros, has been achieved by Rubén Molina Fernández, and the second award, of a 100 euros, has gone to Alba Coppola. This way, two of the best images amongst over the 50 ones presented to the contest with the hashtag #mirinconfavoritodemagaluf are recognized. 

The objective of this contest has been stimulating the creative capacity of the contestants and boosting touristic promotion of the locality through civilian participation. For that, Instagram was chosen, due to its penetration into society, especially in the younger generations, as well as for its virality that would create the same participants of the contest.

In addition, the winning photograph will opt now to the national awards of the “Mi rincón favorito” project, which will be known on September 27th, World Tourism Day.
