The team Ses Margalides will represent Club Náutico Ibiza and the Federación Balear de Vela at the 29th Gestilar Ladies Cup, part of the 40th Trofeo Príncipe de Asturias de Vela.

Santa Eulalia) and Caty Havenga (R.C.N. Palma). These six athletes will compete in the waters of the Bay of Baiona and the Ría de Vigo at the 40th Trofeo Príncipe de Asturias – 29th Gestilar Ladies Cup.
The 40th Trofeo Príncipe de Asturias will take place in the waters of the Bay of Baiona and Ría de Vigo on September 5, 6, and 7, 2025, organized by the Monte Real Club de Yates and the Comisión Naval de Regatas de la Escuela Naval Militar de Marín.
The Ladies Cup is reserved for six women’s teams invited by the event’s organization, who will compete for the prestigious trophy aboard boats provided by the Monte Real Club de Baiona. The nine scheduled races will be sailed in real time among some of the best female sailors in Spain, where the representatives of the Federación Balear de Vela will aim for the podium.
The Fígaro 1 is the first production boat with built-in ballast. Designed from the outset for offshore racing, its performance boosts morale in all sea conditions. With a polyester hull, fixed keel, and 9.14 meters in length, it attracts regatta enthusiasts and responds with character to any challenge.
The team has thoroughly prepared for the competition, with the following crew positions: mast – Elisenda Torres, bow – Agnès Torres, maneuver and sail coordination – Esther Terrasa, winches – María Palou, tactics – the renowned sailor Caty Havenga, and helmswoman – Maura Ramón. Undoubtedly, this is a highly competitive team that will carry the flags of Club Náutico Ibiza, Club Nàutic Santa Eulalia, Real Club Náutico de Palma, and the Federación Balear de Vela.
This participation also coincides with the centenary of one of Ibiza’s oldest sports entities, Club Náutico Ibiza, which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. The team’s presence has been made possible thanks to the generous invitation of the Monte Real Club de Yates de Baiona, with whom they maintain a close collaboration.
