The Sailor’s Party sets the new path of ADN Mediterráneo

This Saturday, May 17th, close to half a hundred sailors and sea lovers met up at the Club de Vela Puerto de Andratx facilities to celebrate the first event organized by the new board of the association ADN Mediterráneo, the Sailor’s Party.

An event that started for many at the first hour in the morning departing from different ports of Mallorca. They took advantage of the good weather to arrive aboard to the club’s facilities, where they could stay overnight. This way, many of the attendees enjoyed this sailor’s event on land and at the sea. When they arrived to the CVPA’s facilities, hundreds of ADN Mediterráneo’s pennants that filled every corner with color awaited them to commemorate this historic soireé.

From 8 PM, all the attendees were received with a lively welcome in the club’s restaurant terrace, where they shared snacks and refreshments outdoors. This was the perfect space for the reencounters, the laughs and the conversations between friends of the sea, which marked the ideal beginning of the soireé. With the sunset, the ambience turned even warmer and merry thanks to the exquisite Argentinian barbecue served by the “Roberto el Parrillero” catering. The sailors and their attendants enjoyed themselves by savoring local sausages, black puddings, flap steak, “picaña” and national angus beef ribs, everything accompanied by a free drink bar, good wine, beer and an atmosphere difficult to exceed.

One of the most special moments came after dinner, with the words of various members of the current Directive Board, who shared their vision for the future of ADN Mediterráneo with the attendees: a more participative and dynamic association, full of suggestions for those of us who love the sea.

And as the highlight, the group Mama Fratelli, a pop-rock band, made the attendees dance, sing and vibe with a live concert, with spanish versions and great classics of all time. A performance full of energy that gave the perfect rhythm  to a night that was already unforgettable in itself.
