Sailors from the Club de Vela Port d’Andratx delivered an outstanding performance at the Hansa 303 Individual Spanish Cup, held in the waters of Almería Bay, achieving four podium finishes and demonstrating clear dominance throughout the event.

The team’s success was further bolstered by Pau Toni Homar and María Carmen García, who secured silver in the men’s and women’s categories, respectively. Isaías Iglesias finished in a commendable fourth place, with Ramón Gutiérrez close behind in sixth.
The regatta, organized by the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation in collaboration with the Club de Mar de Almería, was defined by fresh southern winds and heavy seas over three intense days of competition. The seven races held tested the sailors’ endurance and technical skills, with all participants performing at an exceptionally high level under demanding conditions.
The CVPA team, led by coach Juanjo Beltrán, is now preparing for the next stage of the championship: the Hansa 303 Doubles event, which will take place at the same venue through Sunday, May 18th. Pau Toni, Mari Carmen, Jordi, and Isaías are set to return to the water, ready to continue competing at the highest level.
