The Parliament, with the favoring votes of PP and Vox and the opposition of the left wing, has asked the Government to remove the possibility of private ships, of the seventh list, to be destined to touristic rental.

YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!It is one of the points of a non-binding proposal (NBP) defended this Wednesday November 26th by the 'PP' MP Sebastià Mesquida in the Commission of Territorial Ordination, Habitage, Mobility, Sea and Water Cycle of the Parliament and that has got by in its totality.
In concrete, the autonomic Chamber has asked the Government to remove the resolution of July 17th of 2025 of the General Directorate of the Marine Merchant that regulates conditions that craft boats of private use must fulfill to get a commercial use.
The text defended by the PP highlights that this measure is necessary to avoid the "negative consequences" that this normative implies for safety as well as sustainability of the coast of the Balearics.
The initiative has also called on the central Executive to evaluate the situation of each territory and calculate the density of nautical activity; and adopting necessary measures to reinforce safety, control and presevation of the coast.
