With southerly wind conditions and strong waves, ideal for this discipline, the paddlers demonstrated great skill, reaching average speeds of up to 17.6 km/h. Among them, Josep Joan Cifre stood out. The Under23 paddler from Club de Vela Port d'Andratx delivered a brilliant performance aboard his striking white and green Nordic Kayak (NK), securing second place in his category.
As a result, Cifre was crowned runner-up and achieved a commendable fifth place in the overall standings, establishing himself as one of the top contenders for the upcoming Spanish Sea Kayak Championship, which will take place in Denia on June 28th and 29th. This event will also serve as a qualifying race for the World Championship in Durban, South Africa.
