ADN Mediterráneo Sailors Association celebrated yesterday, Wednesday September 10th, the 11th edition of the Nit d’Havaneres, an already consolidated date in the cultural and solidary calendar of Mallorca. The encounter, celebrated in the Real Club Náutico de Palma (RCNP), raised funds in benefit of Mallorca’s Food Bank Foundation and it reunited 350 assistants.

YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!The soiree began at 8 p.m. with a welcome cocktail, in which there was no lack of snacks, appetizers, a ham cutter and free drink during the whole night. In addition, the ex-president of the association, Biel Morell, was responsible for opening the event, presented by IB3’s journalist Xavi Ara Frau.
From 9 p.m., music took the spotlight. RCNP music group, directed by Francesc Bonnín, and the Mallorcan group ‘Ben Trempats’, interpreted over 15 songs, between ‘habaneras’ and traditional Mallorcan songs, which filled Palma’s port with a sailor ambience.
Amongst the assistants, there were authorities such as the CEO of the Naval field of the Balearics, Javier Núñez de Prado Aparicio; Palma’s Maritime Captain, José Escalas Porcel; and the Seventh Tennant-Mayor of Palma, Antonio Deudero Mayans, accompanied by the president of ADN Mediterráneo, Lorenzo Pons Moncada.
The company ‘Tot Espectacle’ collaborated with the concession of the sound, light and scenery technical material, contributing to the success of a spectacle that prolonged until 11:15 pm.
With the sold out tickets and a donation of 30 euros by assistant, the 11th Nit d’Havaneres consolidated as a referee date in the island, where music, seamanship and solidarity shook hands in one of the most endearing nights of the year.
