The CVPA lives a weekend full of emotion and learning with the Luís Homar Memorial

The port of Andratx has hosted this weekend the Luís Homar Memorial, an emotional light sailing regatta organized by the Club de Vela Port d’Andratx.

The event, which took place from July 24th to 25th, turned into an authentic nautical sport party, specially for the new learners of the sailing school, who could apply their technical knowledge in the classrooms as well as at sea.

For two intense journeys, over fifty sailors, from beginners to members of the club’s regatta team, shared protagonism aboard Optimist, ILCA, 420 and classic Cadets boats.

Despite the difficult meteorological conditions, with threatening skies and strong winds that reduced the competition in the open sea to just one test, in solid land the enthusiasm and the knowledge were the great victors.
