The suggestion comes from the necessity of reinforcing specialized training in a strategic sector for the economy of the islands, that currently experiences a sustained growth and a high qualified profile demand. With this initiative, both entities aim to collect the opinion of professionals, companies, educational institutions, students and civilians in general, with the aim to identify the real training needs and the potential of creating a specific school.
The survey is available online and can be completed in just a few minutes. The results will be used as a base to value the following steps in the process of a school creation, in tight collaboration with the Council and the relevant public administrations..
With this action, Balearic Marine Cluster and the Council of the UIB aim to imply all the nautical community in the definition of an academic project that contributes to consolidating the superior training in the nautical sector and boosting local talent, innovation and competitivity of the sector in the Balearic islands.
