Yesterday’s session, themed “THE FUTURE OF REFIT & SERVICE INFRASTRUCTURE IN THE MEDITERRANEAN,”addressed key topics such as investment in technical infrastructure, the role of subcontractors, the professionalization of refit services, and the Mediterranean’s potential to become the hub for next-generation technical services for large yachts.

Participants also continued to engage in panel discussions, presentations, networking sessions, and innovation hackathons that generated a high level of involvement and idea exchange. This second day confirmed the industry’s enthusiasm for debating, collaborating, and building a shared vision for the future of the nautical sector in the region.

“We’re very pleased with the outcome of the forum—not only because of the number and quality of attendees, but also the high level of conversation, shared energy, and ideas that emerged over these two days. It’s been a great lead-in to what will be another major moment for the sector: the Palma International Boat Show,” said Guillermo García, President of Balearic Marine Cluster.

The celebration of The Balearic Superyacht Forum 2025 thus becomes the ideal prelude to the Palma International Boat Show, which opened its doors yesterday with more than 300 exhibitors.

Both events strengthen Palma’s position as an international hub for the nautical industry and offer a high-value week for companies, institutions, and professionals in the sector.

Balearic Marine Cluster will continue working to consolidate this space for reflection, business, and innovation in future editions, with the goal of strengthening the competitiveness of the nautical industry in the Balearic Islands and the Mediterranean.

The Balearic Superyacht Forum is a strategic meeting point for international nautical professionals. Held in Palma de Mallorca, the forum gathered leaders, experts, and companies from across the superyacht value chain over two days to discuss the industry's major challenges, share knowledge, and collaboratively build real solutions.

With an innovative format combining roundtables, themed hackathons, and networking spaces, the forum offered a unique environment to exchange ideas, anticipate trends, and strengthen partnerships—positioning the Mediterranean as a key destination for large yachts.
