The first thing everyone checks before the weekend arrives is what the weather is going to be like. That is why, on Passion for the Sea, in collaboration with Àngel Muñoz, creator of Meteo de les Illes, we bring you the weather forecast every Friday, so you can plan ahead and enjoy the sea with all the information you need.

Over the course of these days, southwesterly winds are expected to move in, bringing rougher sea conditions and waves that may reach up to half a meter in height. Extra caution is therefore advised for nautical activities, and checking the forecast before heading out to sea is recommended.
As for conditions on land, Saturday will bring intervals of cloud, while by Sunday cloud cover will become more widespread, resulting in a more overcast atmosphere across much of the archipelago.
Even so, conditions will remain pleasant, and the Mediterranean continues to warm up as the season progresses. Sea temperature is currently already around 19 degrees, increasingly inviting those first swims and time spent along the coast.
All in all, it will be a changeable spring weekend in the Balearic Islands, with somewhat rough seas, variable skies, and temperatures that continue to hint at the arrival of summer.
