The Association of Galicia -ASNAUGA and the Spanish Confederation of Nautical Clubs Associations – CECHA, has organized on October 3rd and 4th the 6th Symposium of Nautical Clubs, in Sanxenxo.
STAY UP TO DATE OF WHAT WE DO AND RECEIVE OUR NEWSLETTERDuring two days, topics that affect sportive and recreational sailing have been treated, such as the Law of Ports of the State, the sportive sailing in Spain and the situation before the new normative, the new technologies at service of sailing, quality, sustainability and environment, fiscality and accounting, national collective convention in laboral relationships, descarbonization, ot the Ministry of Sea though the actions of Stella Marís, are some of the exposed contents, all of them through authorized voices and of great recognition, since they are relevant figures that develop their work in the day-to-day, in this sector.
In addition, during these journeys there has also been time for acknowledgements, such as the delivery of the commemorative plaque “Luis Enguita” to Miquel Suñer, who was the president of Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita and of the Association of Nautical Clubs of the Balearics, in recognition of his dedication and labour as expresident also of the CEACNA (2020-2024). Suñer could not come to the act and in his name, the award was collected by the current president of the Association of Nautical Clubs of the Balearics, Antonio Estades and Rafael Palmer, manager of the entity.
Miguel Suñer spent over 30 years in the directorate of the Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita, four of them as directive, other four as vicepresident and over twenty as president. In addition, he was the second president that the Association of Nautical Clubs of the Balearics had, founded in 2004. Suñer was at the front of the entity from 2008 to 2021. The association unites 24 nautical entities of the Balearics and its essential aim is the boosting of nautical sport.
During its over thirty years of dedication to the social sailing, Suñer has received different recognitions such as the award Marcial Sánchez Barcáiztegui or the award Brújula de Gaceta Náutica.
