The fleet has competed in a race with wind of the southeast of between 8 and 9 knots. The departure has been given a little after midday after two general calls and, by the third one, they've been able to sail.

Wind was somewhat unstable and there was a 10 degrees shift that obligated changing the route by half of the 1.5 distance miles journey. The Racing Committee has tried taking a second departure, but delay by two general calls has caused the hour limit to be near, and so the fleet has gone back to port.

The Swedish team ‘Miss Behavior’ arrived at the last session as leader of the overall ranking, but tied with British ’Louise Racing'. The ones of Jan Secher have not given option to their rival and have achieved triumph in the only completed race, while they saw how the crew led by Grant Gordon crossed the finish line in tenth place.

This way, the ‘Miss Behavior’, one of the most combative teams in the regattas of the Dragon category that take place in Puerto Portals, has slowed down the victory in this 9th Mediterranean Cup, with the Louise Racing in second place and Swiss Ginkgo Racing, of Jan Eckert, in third place.

The ceremony awards took place in the afternoon yesterday after the fraternity lunch for all participants.

The Dragon class will not rest in Puerto Portals, which will host from March 16th to the 23rd the prestigious Dragon Gold Cup, considered the unofficial world championship of the class and which will gather over 80 boats in one of the most important events of the international calendar.
