The Balearic Islands are expected to experience a weekend of stable weather following a Friday marked by northerly winds and more unsettled conditions. During the morning, skies will remain cloudy or overcast, with generally light rainfall, although clear spells will develop from the afternoon onwards, eventually giving way to mostly partly cloudy skies.
Minimum temperatures will show little change, while maximum temperatures will decrease, especially in the north of Mallorca, where the drop could be significant. Winds will blow from the north and northeast at moderate strength with occasional strong gusts, reaching between 60 and 70 km/h. In the afternoon, winds will gradually weaken and shift to an easterly direction.
Regarding sea conditions, the strong winds of recent hours will still have an impact on Saturday, June 6th. Although conditions will gradually improve, residual swells are expected, with waves possibly exceeding 1.5 meters in some areas.
By Sunday, June 7th, forecasts point to a progressive improvement in both sea state and atmospheric conditions. Stability will dominate, accompanied by rising temperatures, bringing a more summery atmosphere.
For this reason, from Passion for the Sea, we recommend taking precautions during outdoor activities and always checking the weather forecast before heading out to sea.
