The first thing we all do before the weekend arrives is to check the weather forecast.
STAY UP TO DATE OF WHAT WE DO AND RECEIVE OUR NEWSLETTERThat is why, at Passion for the Sea, in collaboration with Àngel Muñoz, creator of Meteo de les Illes, we offer you the weather forecast every Friday, so that you can schedule your plans in advance and enjoy the sea with all the necessary information.
With the arrival of spring this weekend, longer sessions, more sunshine hours and such characteristic changing weather of this time of the year, in which stability moments with wind, rain and quick changes of sea conditions mix up, returns.
This weekend in the Balearic Islands it will be a clear example of this spring instability.
Saturday’s session will be marked by a maritime alteration situation, specially at the southeast of Mallorca, where wind will generate waves of a meter and a meter and half tall, also affecting Ibiza and Formentera. It is expected to be a complicated session at sea.
Regarding the sky, we will have a variable situation, without discarding, especially when facing Sunday, some rain in inside areas of the Balearic Islands.
When facing Sunday, wind will slowly lose intensity, which will give a step to an improvement of the state of the sea, with a much calmer maritime situation.
For this reason, from Passion for the Sea we recommend being cautious when carrying out outdoor activities and always checking the meteorological forecast before setting sail.
