After a succeeding championship, with podiums in all disciplines and categories,  Spain swayed over France (silver), Japan (bronze) and Brasil (copper), conffirming its global leadership in the SUP and Prone modalities.

The last journey croned the SUP Sprint champions, explosive and decisive discipline for the overall qualifying. Alba Frey, 2024's champion, achieved a well-deserved silver medal in a very competitive final, while Sergio Cantoral completed the male podium with a valuable bronze, key to ensure the first place of the national team.

Frey cloes the championship with three medals (silver in Sprint, bronze in Distance and copper in Technical), and alongside names such as the Mallorcan Duna Gordillo, and Judit Vergés, who achieved gold medals in Distance, consolidating themselves as the great figures of the team. The regularity and commitment of all the team has been decisive for the final result. In addition, it is important to remember that recently, Gordillo achieved a double runner-up title at Abu Dhabi's world champs,  in the Long Distance and Technical Race categories.

The gold medal by teams reflects the collective work and the projection of Spanish surf to an international level. With already consolidated names and emerging young talents, the team has competed with quality, style and respect, values recognized by rivals and organization.

In addition to the medals, important results such as the sixth and seventh position of Fernando Pérez and Aarón Sánchez in SUP Male Distance, and the fifth places of Iballa Ruano and Juan de los Reyes in SUP Surf, consolidating the team as a world referent.

ISA's president, Fernando Aguerre, pointed out Spain's role and the quality of the event: “I want to congratulate all the teams and medallists, especially to Spain for its great championship. It has been an extraordinary week in El Salvador, a country that has shown once more its capacity to organize great events with passion, efficiency and hospitality.”

Spain, world's champion by teams for second consecutive year. A collective achievement that speaks of the present, of constant work... and of the future.
