This weekend the champ has been celebrated at the Pontillón de Castro’s dam, in Galicia. It is important to highlight the sixth position obtained at the final by the 4K from Es Nàutic.

A team from Club Nàutic Sant Antoni formed by 7 Junior paddlers (5 boys and 2 girls) competed in it. The competition has been highlighted by the high level of participation, in quantity and quality, a loyal reflection of the current Spanish canoeing on an international level.
CNSA’s paddlers have accomplished a good performance, highlighting the sixth place in the absolute finals of K4 500 m Junior Male, which Prendes, Álvaro Rubio, Noel López y Roy Kikozashvili made possible. The second place in Final B (11º) of K2 500 m Junior Male, with Raúl Prendes and Álvaro Rubio, was also very deserving; the 5th position in Final B (14ª) of K2 500 m Junior Female, with María Gallego and Valentina Rodríguez, and the 8th place in the Final B (17º) of K2 500 m Junior Male, with Facundo González and Roy Kikozashvili.
This Second Spain’s Sprint Cup has been the last race of national nature before Spain’s Championship of this discipline, which will be contested at the same scenery, from August 1st to 3rd. This way, CNSA’s paddlers will have a bit more than two months to prepare for the most important match of the season.
