Sant Elm’s beach regains Blue Flag status

The Andratx Town Council has regained the prestigious Blue Flag for Sant Elm Beach, a distinction that recognizes environmental quality, safety, services, and sustainable beach management.

This recognition comes after three years and is a clear result of one of the current administration’s main goals: to promote the sustainability of Andratx's beaches and reclaim the valuable flag.

The Environmental Councillor, Antoni Nicolau, emphasized that “from the beginning of the term, we set the improvement of our beaches as a top priority. We’ve worked intensively to increase and optimize services, aiming to provide high-quality service to our users.”

Mayor Estefanía Gonzalvo added, “Regaining the Blue Flag is the result of the municipality’s firm commitment. We are committed to a sustainable and environmentally responsible town, preserving our beaches and natural surroundings. We will continue working to achieve this distinction for the other beaches in the municipality.”
