The event, which reaches its second edition, combines nautical tradition, cultural, sportive and gastronomic activities, and has turned into one of the most relevant dates of the maritime calendar of Mallorca. The fair will open its door on Saturday, October 18th, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday, October 19th, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
One more year, the CVPA carries out a main role on this awaited date from Andratx, by actively participating with proposals that put into the value their tight relationship with the municipality and its contribution to local dynamization. Amongst them, the Nautical Fair stands out, an event where visitors can buy or sell second-hand boats, get to know the nautical field’s innovation and walk along the port to experience its maritime environment.
In addition, the sailing club organizes sailing baptisms, offers guided visits through its facilities, hosts the exposition “Bitàcola visual del Port d’Andratx”, which reflects the maritime identity of the municipality, and participated in the 2nd Sailor Cooking Show with menus inspired by sea, in the restaurant as well as the cafeteria.
As a highlighted sporting activity, the VisitAndratx Crucero is celebrated, inside the 29th Liguilla Dos Estaciones, organized by the CVPA, one of the most important ORC leagues of Mallorca.
The fair also offers workshops, children activities, sporting proposals and an artisanal market, a complete experience for all the public. In addition, the event will have a solidary component with the concert “Juntos contra el cáncer”, which will be celebrated on Saturday, benefiting the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) and it will include Antonio Carmona’s performance.
