Athletes Rafa Reyes (AD Ibiza Half Triathlon) and Susana Sevillano (CT Vas Mallorca) were the stars of the third race of the 2025 Aquathlon League, held on Sunday, August 24 at Platja d’en Bossa, under the iconic Torre de sa Sal Rossa in the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia.

YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!Reyes, a local triathlete, won the men’s federated sprint category, completing the 6 km course in 36:02, ahead of Oriol Díaz (36:21) and José Luis Gambacorta (36:37). In the women’s category, Susana Sevillano delivered an outstanding performance with a time of 38:02, also placing fifth in the overall absolute ranking. The women’s podium was completed by Ainara Minaya (43:12) and Verónica Pérez (45:26).
In the relay event, teams added extra excitement to the day. Victory went to the duo Pablo Roselló and Alberto Martín, who recorded a total time of 35:40 (17:39 swimming and 18:00 running). They were followed on the podium by Jaume and Miquel Llorens (Club Natació Eivissa) with 37:43, and Francesca Busi and Juan José Marí with 38:57.
The event again stood out for its high participation, featuring athletes of all ages and levels. The children’s races were a highlight, giving the youngest participants a chance to take their first steps in aquathlon in a fun and safe environment. This initiative is part of the commitment to promote grassroots sport and healthy values among the youth of Ibiza.
With a course combining swimming in crystal-clear waters and running on the sand, Platja d’en Bossa has established itself as a perfect venue for this type of event. The organization was handled by Club Triatlón Santa Eulària, Trideporte, and Blue Challenge Ibiza, with support from the Sant Josep City Council, making this edition notable for its excellent atmosphere and coordination.
The 2025 Aquathlon League will conclude on September 14 with the fourth and final race, to be held at Cala de Sant Vicent.
Expectations are high, with participation likely to surpass previous editions, in a sport that continues to gain popularity in Ibiza each year.
