PortsIB reinforces quality and supervision of portuary projects with a new accord

The agreement between PortsIB and Road, Canal and Ports Engineers College reinforces quality and transparency in the management of portuary projects.

Ports de les Illes Balears (PortsIB) and the Road, Canal and Ports Engineers College have signed a collaboration accord for the visa and supervision of projects and technical activities carried out by trained engineers. The objective is guaranteeing efficiency, quality and the fulfillment of the normative in the execution of portuary projects and other competence works of the autonomic administration.

With this signature, the collaboration between both entities is formalized, which will allow the College to carry out the action of revising and supervising these works, ensuring that they adjust to the current normative and to the corresponding technical standards.

The accord includes the visa and tracking of constructive projects, works directions and technical reports related to construction, conservation and exploration of portuary facilities.

This accord reinforces transparency and professionalism in the management of portuary projects and adds an additional level of control and guarantee over activities of the trained engineers.

With this step, the Government of the Balearic Islands reaffirms its commitment with quality and safety in the management of portuary infrastructures of the archipelago.
