PortsIB opens the authorizations for commercial moorings in its direct management ports

The period ends on December 31st, 2025, and the requests must be made through the electronic site.

Ports de les Illes Balears (PortsIB), organism that depends on the Sea and Water Cycle Counselling, has opened the period to request the temporary authorizations of commercial activity of moorings for ships destined to rental and aquatic activities in the direct management ports.

This call allows phyisical or legal people that had active authorizations last year and are aware of the corresponding payments, to request a new one-year duration authorization, with a nature preferent for the same place of mooring or occupied space during the last season.

The requests presentation period will end on December 31st, 2025, and these must be sent exclusively through the electronic site of PortsIB (https://portsib.sedelectronica.es/info.1).

PortsIB remins that not presenting the renewal inside the established period or doing it after December 31st will mean the loss of preferent nature over the mooring place of occupied space last year. In this case, exploitation of the mooring will be given through public contest.

This procedure allows guaranteeing the continuity of commercial activity and an organized management of the ports of the Balearic Islands.
