Today, May 16th, the sixth edition of the ‘Isla Race’ was presented in Port Adriano. It is Mallorca's most iconic obstacle course race and has been part of the National Obstacle Course Racing League, the largest OCR competition in Spain, since its very first edition.

This year, it will feature 1.000 participants who will face over 35 obstacles, including water (such as the El Toro beach), mud, walls, structures, puddles, barbed wire, and countless other challenges designed to test the strength, endurance, and teamwork of the competitors.
On Sunday, May 18th, the adult ‘Isla Race’ will take place, featuring the classic +6 km and +12 km distances. These races are open to runners of all levels, from amateurs to elite athletes. All finishers will receive a commemorative medal, and top finishers will be awarded in their respective categories. On Saturday, May 17th, ‘Isla Race’ Kids will return, a non-competitive race for children aged 4 to 15, offering young participants the chance to enjoy sport and adventure in a safe and festive environment.
In addition to the sporting competition, the event will include a full program of activities for all ages, featuring workshops, shows, and entertainment for the whole family. The event aims to raise funds for the SOM Foundation (Sanitaris Oberts al Món), reinforcing Isla Race and Rotary Club Palma Mediterránea’s commitment to social causes. Altogether, it promises to be a weekend where sport, solidarity, and fun take center stage.
