The exhibition features a selection of all the winning images from the 5th Edition of the Audiovisual Contest for the Conservation of the Balearic Sea (2024) and will be on display at Paseo de Sagrera in Palma from June 13 to 30.
The exhibition offers an immersive and interactive experience: each photo includes a QR code that links to the photographer’s Instagram profile, where they share a conservation message expressing their perspective on the Balearic Sea.
With a design inspired by the visual language of social media, “The Voice of the Sea” aims to break barriers and engage a wide audience, inviting viewers to look, listen, and take action for marine conservation.

The exhibition was inaugurated today at 10:00 a.m. at the Paseo de Sagrera in Palma. The event was attended by Abraham Calero and Amador Garcias from the MARE team, as well as Palma’s Deputy Mayor and Councilor for the Natural Environment, Healthy Surroundings, Markets, and Innovation, Llorenç Bauzá de Keizer. He reaffirmed the City Council’s support for MARE’s exhibition and its commitment to the conservation of the Balearic Sea, emphasizing the importance of protecting this ecosystem and collaborating with organizations working for its well-being.
