This is the first test of the Balearic Cup, postponed previously in March and disputed last weekend, bridging the gap of competition to the following national champs and the Balearic Velocity champ.
One of the most highlighted performances was carried out by Adriana González, in Juvenile A K1 1.000 metres, where she leads from start to finish achieving the club’s record in Female Juvenile in 1.000 metres with 5:09 and winning gold. In the same race, Carla Llorca was bronze.
On the other hand, Jaime Montañés was third in the Juvenile regatta, which meant gold in Juvenile B K1 1.000 metres, while Gabi Mora and Ibai Santos, in Benjamin A K1 1.000 metres, dominated with authority, achieving gold and silver, and in 13 and 9 seconds, respectively, from the bronze.
Daniel Cortés also offered a victory, in Prebenjamin K1 1.000, with 15 seconds of advantage over the second and 1:11 of the third.
In this sense, there were resounding victories also for Marcos Pons, in Cadet B K1 500 metres, being Bruno Pons bronze after a great regatta; of Pol Tàrrega in Youth A K1 500, where Aingeur Salaverria was third, and Hannah Cook in Youth B K1 500 metres.
Irati Vial competed at a great level and it was enough to achieve the silver medal in Cadet A K1 500 metres; the same as Pablo Cayarga, Leo Pons and Aritz De Novo, who completed the podium Male in Juvenile A K1 1.000 metres in this order. The rest of the medals were achieved by Sienna Hall, achieved in Youth A K1 500 metres, with a bronze, the same result as Claudia Cook in Cadet B K1 500 metres.
