Thanks to the work of 34 divers and over 30 volunteers in land, the session ended with the withdrawal of over 4.000 kilos of waste, amongst the ones fallen to the sea and material dragged by the stream.

The session, that took place throughout the morning at the facilities of the club, conretely at the 30, 40, 50, 51 and 52 docks, finished with the withdrawal of over 4.000 kilos of objects fallen to the sea or dragged by the stream. Glass bottles, wheels, steel, scooters, amongst others, were withdrawn by the divers with the help of volunteers in land.
Pedro Barceló, securtiy director of the Club de Mar-Mallorca, thanked the participation of the over sixty volunteers: “This year we've beat the reocrd of volunteerong divers. From the club we want to thank the commitment of all the volunteers. Without them and without the collaborators this action would not be possible; the success is ompletely theirs”.
After the work of the divers and the volunteers, lwaste was classified to be put afterwards in the green spots of the club. The session ended with the enjoyment on behalf of all the particioants of a 'paella'.
This activity is set inside the environmental actions that the club carries out from its Qaulity and Environment department with the aim to preserve and respect the environment as well as the natural resources.
The 6th Club de Mar-Mallorca's seafloor cleaning session has had the collaboration of: Tiberi Catering, Exploreextrem, Societat Espeleològica Balear, Escuela del Mar, SSP Underwater, Isurus, Coronet, Tech Dive, Safamar, Asociación Protemar Aventure and Almas Marinas.
