Renowned names such as All Smoke, Ammonite, Aurelius, Cervo, Esense, Ganesha, Gelliceaux, Jasi, Kiboko IV, L’Hippocampe, Liberty Squared, Nostromo, Open Season, and Viento have all passed through STP. The latter has just been hauled out at the yard to finalize details before setting course for the regatta.
Many of these superyachts are long-standing clients of STP, returning year after year thanks to the trust placed in the yard’s professional team. Moreover, its open-yard model, unique in the Mediterranean, allows owners and captains to freely choose from a wide network of specialized companies (with more than 700 registered providers) to carry out any type of work, a highly valued advantage as it saves both time and costs.
Combined with modern infrastructure and a vast network of specialists operating on-site, STP consolidates its position as the go-to location for much of the international fleet to prepare for the season and, in this case, to compete in one of the Mediterranean’s most exclusive regattas.
“That more than half of the Ibiza JoySail 2025 fleet has passed through our facilities shows the trust that large yachts place in STP and its professionals. For us, it’s a source of pride to support these teams in their preparation and contribute to the success of a regatta that has already become an international benchmark,” highlights Joan Roselló, General Manager of STP Shipyard Palma.
With such a strong presence of the fleet at its docks, STP Shipyard Palma reaffirms its role as the leading shipyard in the Mediterranean and as organizer of Ibiza JoySail, where innovation, specialization, and service capabilities are dedicated to the world’s most prestigious superyachts.
