‘Nadir’ and ‘Settebello’ will face the 43rd Copa del Rey MAPFRE

The 43rd edition of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE, already officially inaugurated in the Real Club Náutico de Palma, will give the starting gunshot tomorrow, Tuesday, July 29th.

The competition has been consolidating its highlighted relevance in the international calendar year after year, turning into an indisputable reference for skippers and sailors. In addition, this edition is highlighted for being the European Chamìonship of ORC cruiser formula, the most diffused one internationally.

Over 130 registered boats have achieved the security inspections, last hour registries, sailing regulations and previous training.

In addition, the regatta will be accompanied by a social activities program of first order, which will start tomorrow, July 29th.

Therefore, in representation of the Club de Vela Port d’Andratx, the two times winner of the World “Nadir”, of Pedro Vaquer, and the “Settebello”, of Hans Peter Wöelfert, that once again will bring the sea’s art by carrying out his artistic performance “Héroes”, will compete in the ORC A class and will fight for the continental title.
