This week, Passion for the Sea has moved to Amsterdam to debut and get to know first-hand Metstrade 2025, one of the most influential nautical fairs of the sector internationally. From November 18th to 20th, the RAI building has turned once more into the world’s epicenter of the industry, reuniting thousands of professionals and hosting 1.600 world stands of the sector.

We’ve just had a few days to attend this impressive expositive area divided into 30 pavilions and that, in addition, has been expanded in this edition, adding close to 10.000 square meters of space in the superyacht area. The organization has pointed out that this amplification answers to the growth of the sector and to the need of offering more content and opportunities of business, consolidating the Metstrade as an unmissable date for professional and recreational boating.

This has undoubtedly been a year full of new developments, such as the design of a new route through the halls to improve the visitor experience and give greater visibility to each area. We have also been able to immerse ourselves in everything related to construction materials in a new zone where products featuring sustainable compounds, bonding technologies, and 3D printing were showcased. And we visited the incredible exhibition area jointly presented for the first time by the United States and Canada, further reinforcing the image of the North American market.

Of course, in addition to discovering everything the international nautical market has to offer, we have been closely following the Balearic nautical companies that took part in this year’s edition of Metstrade. Some had their own stand, while others were grouped together in the space organized by ANEN and AENIB, in collaboration with the Ministry of Business, Self-Employment and Energy and ADR Balears, located in Hall 1 (Spanish Pavilion).

Without a doubt, this was one of the main hubs of activity at the nautical fair, and the place where Balearic companies had the opportunity to showcase their products and services, hold meetings, and establish new business opportunities. In fact, on Wednesday, November 19, we attended the traditional Spanish Party, a networking event that brought together representatives from the Spanish and international nautical sectors.

As a result, the Balearic nautical industry returns home with a long list of contacts, new international partnerships, and a horizon full of opportunities that strengthen its status in a market that continues to grow.
