This weekend, the last but one session of the competition has taken place with a lot of wind on Saturday February 7th, with four races, and on Sunday, February 8th, with conditions that only allowed one race. Jordi Triay and Lluís Mas got to the top of the ranking with a clear victory in the fourth Winter Series that had 19 participating vessels.
On Saturday the sessions, which took place inside the port, had to start later due to wind excess, with 20 constant knots that got up to 26. Triay and Mas dominated the first three races, adding a third and second place, ending on the top with a total of 197 points. Totto Hartman and Cecilia Vasholmen, who finished with 184 points, got second place, while the podium was completed by David Saura and Mireia García with 180 points. The wind, throughout the afternoon, fell until it reached 8 knots. On Sunday, the wind was stable with 12/14 knots, but in the second race the wind shifted over 50º and the Committee decided to suspend that session, having only one race that day, which took place in the regattas area programmed for the Snipe World Championship, which will take place in September in Mahón.
In the accumulated qualifying, Jordi Triay and Lluís Mas go in first position by lack of a race to take place, with 735 points, followed by Peter Saura and Borja Llopis, with 691. Fernando Rita and Xema Ulldemolins are in third place with 674 points.
The last session of the Winter Series will take place on March 7th and 8th.
