Marina Port de Mallorca renews its concession, focusing on sustainability and innovation

8th September 2025 by Agencies

Marina Port de Mallorca has renewed its concession and begins a new cycle with sustainability and innovation as the main pillars of its management. The marina, located on Palma’s Paseo Marítimo and managed by IPM Group, starts this stage by reinforcing its commitment to the sea, its clients, and the city, under a claim that sums up its philosophy: “a marina that breathes green and lives in blue.”

The roadmap for Marina Port de Mallorca focuses on energy efficiency and respect for the natural environment. Key planned initiatives include:

  • Solar energy and energy efficiency: pergolas and fingers with solar panels, photovoltaic pavements, and an aerothermal system to reduce consumption.

  • Water management: a private desalination plant and rainwater collection systems to move toward water self-sufficiency.

The marina will also strengthen its commitment to marine biodiversity with pioneering technologies such as:

  • Oxygen nanobubbles to improve water quality without chemicals.

  • BioHut shelters for juvenile fish, promoting biodiversity in the port area.

  • Real-time monitoring probes to track the health of the marine ecosystem.

Beyond technology and infrastructure, the human factor remains central to the marina. The team at Marina Port de Mallorca, with decades of experience, continues to provide personalized, professional, and attentive service tailored to each client’s needs.

This human touch, combined with concierge services and personalized attention, has made the marina a reference point in the Mediterranean.

Its location on Palma’s Paseo Marítimo offers users a unique environment: the peace and privacy of an urban marina with full services and direct connection to STP Shipyard Palma, the largest superyacht repair and maintenance center in the Mediterranean. This added value allows clients to enjoy a comprehensive experience without leaving the heart of the city.

“Marina Port de Mallorca was the first marina of the group, and we have grown alongside our clients. This new period excites us because it allows us to keep innovating without losing what’s essential: respect for the sea and the close, personal service that defines us,” explains Patrick Reynés, CEO of IPM Group.

With this new direction, Marina Port de Mallorca reaffirms its position as a reference in the Mediterranean, consolidating an efficient, connected, and environmentally committed marina model. A new stage begins, greener and bluer than ever.
