Mallorcans Karol Krupski and Daniel Giménez shine at ILCA 7 Spain’s Cup

Altea has been the base of the 2025 Spain’s Cup of ILCA 7 class, one of the most relevant competitions in the light sailing national calendar.

The regatta, which took place from September 18th to the 21st, reunited the best sailors of the country for this demanding olympic class. 

Organized by their Nautical Club by delegation of the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation, in collaboration with the Sailing Federation of the Valencian Community, the ILCA class Spanish Association and the Town Hall, the Altean bay offered very good sailing conditions, with stable winds, except for the second race, somewhat moody and marked by weak winds. 

In the regatta, a total of 40 sailors gathered, completing the program of nine races in the Absolute and Under21 categories. In the last one, sailors from Club de Vela Puerto Andratx, Karol Krupski and Daniel Giménez, finished in fifth and sixth position respectively.
