The popular series 'Ecos del Mar ' reviews the municipal protection actions of the marine reserve and the project of the octopus sanctuary.

This production, centered on coastal sustainability and the protection of the marine environment, closes its first season with an episode dedicated to the municipality of Calvià.
In the video, testimonies such as the one of Elisa Montserrat, Tourism mayoress tennant, who talks about the octopus sanctuary project; architect Jose Luis Mosteiro, who explains the transformation of the Maritime Promenade and elements such as the new dunes that form part os the landscape of the first line of Magaluf from now on; Aniol Esteban, director of the Marilles Foundation, that shows the island of Sa Porrassa, have been collected.
The chapter goes through diverse initiatives boosted by the Town Hall of Calvià, from the renaturalization of beaches to the recovery of historical spaces, going through protection of the island of Sa Porrassa and the ambitious project of creating an octopus sanctuary. The series highlights how the municipality has known how to transform its present looking towards the futrue, with nature as guide.
‘Ecos del Mar’ will also launch in Sun Channel, the Spanish-spaeaking leading tourism channel, with emission in all of South America and the United States. In addition, the series is also expected to amplify its international distribution by being added to the Love TV Channels catalogue, through the Love The Planet channel, available in Pluto TV, Orange TV, TVify and other platforms in Spain and Europe. With this expansion, ‘Ecos del Mar’ reinforces its position as reference series about the sea, sustainability and responsible tourism.
The production has thanked the collaboration of the Town Hall of Calvià, that has contributed to showing natural, cultural and touristic value of the municipality on a global scope.
