The course included a round trip to the Royal Nautical Club of Palma, with an overnight stay and a lively crew dinner at the host club.
Thermal breezes dominated the western coast and the Bay of Palma, presenting a technical challenge for navigation and making the race pace difficult for the dozen boats that took part in these final two events.
In both races, “Kine” skippered by Sean McCarter was the first to cross the finish line in real time, followed by “Settebello” and the J97 “Just The Job”, skippered by Scott Beattie, who won on corrected time, earning the President’s Trophy and securing his eighth victory in the Two-Season Series.
The podium in the ORC 0/4 division was completed by the brilliant J92 “Jolie Voile”, skippered by Toni Enseñat. In the ORC 5 division, the J80 “Just4Fun”, skippered by Silvia Cabrera, claimed both the Trophy and the overall win in the Two-Season Series, topping an extremely close podium that was decided by a three-way tie with “Calm Days” by Luís Portella, “Tentol” by Pau Herrera, and “La Escandalosa” by Jaime Gonzalo Manso.
