In its fifth edition, the event once again brings together some of the most prominent superyachts on the international scene in a gathering that combines sport, spectacle, and the unparalleled backdrop of Ibiza and Formentera.
The competition will feature an exceptional fleet divided into five categories.
Among the participants are returning veterans from previous editions, such as ‘Moat’, ‘Gelliceaux’, and ‘Open Season’, true benchmarks that each year position the regatta as a must-attend event. They are joined by new entries like ‘Esense’, ‘Cervo’, ‘Magic Blue’, and ‘Namuun’, making their debut this year to bring even more quality and diversity to the regatta. Altogether, the Ibiza JoySail 2025 fleet consists of 22 superyachts ranging from 66 to 144 feet, ensuring excitement and spectacle on the water.
In addition, Ibiza JoySail keeps alive the Corinthian spirit, emphasizing sportsmanship, camaraderie, and enjoyment of the sea above results, without requiring any boat modifications or extra crew for participation.
This philosophy makes the regatta a unique experience both on and off the water, strengthening the bond between owners, crews, and the islands of Ibiza and Formentera.
“The quality of the fleet and the level of competition this year promise an exciting edition. Our goal is for every owner and crew to have an unforgettable sporting and social experience,” says Nacho Postigo, regatta director.
Beyond the competition, Ibiza JoySail combines the thrill of high-level racing with the island lifestyle, embodying the purest Ibizan spirit.
September in Ibiza offers perfect wind and sea conditions, along with an exclusive atmosphere, making this event an increasingly established highlight on the international sailing calendar.
The regatta is supported by prominent partners that enhance its international profile. In addition to Marina Ibiza and STP Shipyard Palma as organizers, the Ibiza JoySail Family includes prestigious brands such as Southern Wind, Mangusta, and Michl Marine, adding a seal of quality to this major nautical event.
The event also receives institutional support from Club Náutico Ibiza, Club Náutico Palma, the Ibiza City Council, and the Consell Insular, along with organizations such as ORC and the Superyacht Racing Association (SYRA). Among the official suppliers are North Sails, Global Yacht Moving, Don Julio, Repsol, Roto Club, and Super Oh!, along with other strategic partners.
Media coverage will feature collaboration with leading specialized outlets, including Boat International, Superyachts Channel, and The Superyacht Group.
“Ibiza JoySail is no longer a promise; it is a consolidated reality. In five years we have managed to position Ibiza at the center of international sailing at the end of the season, and this year we will prove it once again. We love welcoming such impressive sailing yachts to Ibiza,” says Dani Marí, Marina Ibiza manager.
With this momentum, Ibiza JoySail 2025 promises once again to be the grand finale of the nautical calendar: four days of sea, sailing, and exclusivity in the heart of the Mediterranean.
