After the signing, the club presented Ibiza IN with a check for a total amount of €5,159.42, which was the amount raised during the 3rd Creative and Solidarity Arroz a Banda Championship, held on March 30 in support of this group.
The ‘Estiu IN a Es Nàutic’ initiative was created to facilitate access to the benefits of the sea and sailing for all children, regardless of their physical or intellectual conditions. It is an inclusive action linked to Es Nàutic’s intensive summer courses, with the aim of guaranteeing equal opportunities for students with functional diversity. So far, five students have already registered for this summer, and some of them will participate in multiple courses.
The renewed agreement stipulates that one or two students with functional diversity per group can benefit from the activity, which requires the participation of specialized instructors and specific technical resources. Es Nàutic already has the necessary human resources to support this collaboration. Furthermore, since Ibiza IN continues to grow in membership, an increase in requests from families within the association is expected.
It is worth noting that Es Nàutic’s summer courses welcome over 500 students each season from across the island. Five two-week courses are held, beginning on June 23 and ending on August 29. The main novelty this year is the inclusion, from the first week of the course, of early drop-off service (8 to 9 a.m.) and tupperware lunch service (2 to 4 p.m.), aimed at helping families better reconcile work schedules with their children's activities. Four options are available for learning nautical sports: dinghy sailing, windsurfing, and kayaking for children aged 8 to 12, and Sea Garden for children aged 6 and 7. Registrations are open and can be made through Es Nàutic’s website.
