Although the shortest route covers approximately 12 kilometers in a straight line, strong westerly swells forced the group to alter their course, ultimately swimming a total of 17 kilometers from Punta Gavina in Formentera to Cap d’es Falcó in Ibiza.

Despite the challenging sea conditions, both the swimmers and the support team maintained the stamina necessary to complete the crossing without any incidents or dangerous situations.

The organization emphasized that these are amateur swimmers who successfully overcame a demanding challenge, which requires intense preparation and significant physical and mental endurance.
