The competition, in which 150 paddlers from all over the archipelago will participate, has been moved from the 14th to the 15th of February, due to the meteorological forecast.

YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!The bay of Portmany hosts this Sunday the celebration of the second session of the Sea Kayak Balearic Cup, in which around 150 paddlers of clubs from all over the archipelago will participate. The test is scheduled for this Saturday, but the bad meteorological forecast has forced it to reprogram it 24 hours later, with the goal of ensuring better conditions at sea.
The competition, organized by the Balearic Canoeing Federation and the CNSA, has two circuits of ten kilometers in open sea. One of them will be selected in terms of wind and stream.
The first option is at the north side of the bay, from the breakwater of the port to the environment of Cala Salada and returning to the departure point, while the second part of the same point with route to the island of es Pallaret and roundabout the dam, in parallel to the south coast. An alternative route by the inside of the bay is not excluded, in case of non appropriate conditions in the exterior. Children, cadets, youth, senior and veteran categories will participate, in individual ships as well as SS2.
The arrival of the participants to the CNSA is expected at 11 a.m., while the departure of the children will be at 12:30 a.m., and the rest of the categories will start an hour later. The ceremony awards will be at 4 p.m., in the polyvalent building of the Sports Area.
