This weekend, from September 20th to the 21st, the Tomás Darder Trophy/Mallorca Championship, qualifying competition for the insular ranking of the Optimist class, has taken place.

During the competition, a splendid bay of Palma offered ideal sailing conditions, with thermic ‘Embat’ breezes of up to 14 knots on Saturday and weaker ones on Sunday, taking place this way a total of 5 races.
Eleven sailors of the Club de Vela Puerto Andratx participated, highlighting the performance of Oliver Iglésias, Under16 seventh male; Natalia Krupska, Under16 seventh female; and Jon Iglésias, Under11 fourth male. The rest of the team competed generously between a numerous and skilled fleet, focused with attention and competitiveness by their coach, Ana Musatova.
