The Presidente Trophy at Club de Vela Port d’Andratx, held on August 21st and 22nd, marked the culmination of the summer Sailing School activities, bringing together young sailors of all ages for an exciting regatta. The event allowed the newest students to put into practice the skills learned during the summer course, while the club’s racing team members showcased their experience and expertise on the water.

With a sunny first day and good breeze, and a calmer second day, a total of four thrilling races were held, keeping excitement high until the final race.
In the Optimist D (beginner) category, Estefan Estepan took first place, standing out among the youngest sailors. In Cadet, the duo Elías Miguel and Martín Medina won gold thanks to their excellent coordination and technique. In the 420 class, Adel Bosh and Noa Gombia were crowned winners, while Ernest Rizzato took first place in the ILCA 4 category.
The Presidente Trophy celebrates not only competition but also the growth and development of young sailors, many of whom could aspire to join the CVPA racing team in the future, continuing the club’s tradition and sporting spirit.
