The Consell de Mallorca programme, aimed specifically at young people aged between 15 and 17, runs from the 31st of August to the 4th of September and offers five days of outdoor activities away from Mallorca.
During their stay, the young participants take part in an extensive programme that includes surfing, canyoning with abseiling, horse riding, hiking, zip-lining, canoeing and paintball. The activities are designed to give them the opportunity to discover new environments, take on challenges and share the experience with other young people their age.
The Councillor for Presidency, Toni Fuster, highlighted that «with Multiaventures Júnior we are taking another step forward so that experiences outside Mallorca are not limited to those over the age of 18. It is the first Consell programme that allows young people aged 15 to 17 to leave the island to enjoy an experience of this kind, gain independence, make new friends and enjoy five days of adventure and shared experiences».
This year, 60 young people are taking part in the second edition of Multiaventures Júnior, an initiative that continues to grow in order to reach more participants each year. They are joined by the 220 young people aged between 18 and 30 taking part in Multiaventures Jove, bringing the total number of participants in the Multiaventures programme this summer to 280.
The five-day, four-night stay includes direct flights between Mallorca and mainland Spain, coach transfers, full-board accommodation, all activities and travel insurance.
In total, more than 1,300 children and young people aged between 9 and 30 are taking part this summer in the various leisure activities promoted by the Consell de Mallorca.
