Club Nàutic Portitxol will launch a new Adult Sailing School this summer, with the aim of introducing sailing to anyone who would like to take up the sport, regardless of previous experience.

YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!The initiative, aimed at people aged 18 and over, has been created to make sailing more accessible to those who have never had the opportunity to learn how to sail. Unlike other training programmes designed for sailors with prior knowledge, this course is specifically intended for complete beginners.
The courses will take place weekly aboard a Club 20 boat, a sailboat offering greater stability and space, allowing participants to train alongside the instructor and progress gradually. From the very first day, participants will head out to sea to become familiar with the boat’s basic operation and practise their first manoeuvres in the waters of Palma Bay.
The training will combine practical on-the-water sessions with theoretical content on safety, navigation and meteorology. Students will learn how to interpret wind and sea conditions, essential skills for sailing independently and safely.
The programme will run on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, in a format designed to make it easier for adults to take part while balancing other personal or professional commitments.
Those who wish to continue their training once the course has ended will also be able to do so through private lessons or by joining the club’s master racing team.
With this new initiative, Club Nàutic Portitxol strengthens its commitment to promoting water sports and training new sailors, expanding its educational offering and bringing sailing to an increasingly diverse audience.
