Club de Mar-Mallorca brings together 600 guests for the first edition of ATLAS

The inaugural edition of this exclusive evening welcomed nearly 600 members and guests for a celebration designed to become a new Club tradition.

On the evening of Thursday, 30th of  July, Club de Mar-Mallorca hosted ATLAS Vol. 1, the first edition of a new celebration created exclusively for its members and set to become a landmark event in the Club's social calendar. Nearly 600 members and invited guests attended an evening that combined music, gastronomy, tradition and the finest Mediterranean atmosphere, taking them on a journey through some of the most iconic spaces of the newly transformed marina.

The name ATLAS is no coincidence. It draws inspiration from Mallorca's deep-rooted connection to the history of navigation and Mediterranean cartography. In the 14th century, Palma was one of Europe's leading centres of cartography thanks to the creation of the renowned Catalan Atlas, one of the most important works in the history of navigation.

This maritime heritage, intrinsically linked to the sea and the spirit of exploration, reflects the identity of Club de Mar-Mallorca and gives meaning to a celebration that aims to become the annual summer gathering for everyone who forms part of the Club's community. Each edition will represent a new volume in this shared story.

The evening began with a welcome cocktail reception at Muelle 1000 before continuing in the Club's social area, where members and guests enjoyed an elegant evening defined by reunion, celebration and a renewed sense of belonging at a particularly significant moment for the institution, following the completion of its extensive transformation project.

Club de Mar-Mallorca President Borja de la Rosa remarked: "With ATLAS, we are launching a new tradition for our members. We wanted to create a celebration that reflects the Club's identity, our connection to both the sea and Mallorca, while strengthening the sense of belonging that defines this new chapter in our history."

The entertainment programme featured performances by The Chevrolets, who made a memorable arrival aboard the striking yacht SAY, as well as Bellinis Septeto and DJ Paco Colombàs. Two highlights received particularly enthusiastic applause from guests: a traditional Ball de Bot performance by the Escola de Música i Danses de Mallorca, and a synchronised swimming exhibition in the Club's new swimming pool, with the Bay of Palma providing a spectacular backdrop.

The culinary offering at ATLAS Vol. 1 brought together some of Mallorca's leading names in gastronomy. Grupo Azotea, Santi Taura and Tomeu Arbona created an exclusive dining experience for the occasion, complemented by the contributions of several additional collaborators who further enriched the evening.

Grupo Brutus, through Cantina Grill Club de Mar, served a selection of its signature specialities, accompanied by a carefully curated range of champagnes and local wines presented by Bodegas Ferrer. Meanwhile, Saltao de Mar delighted guests with its refreshing Pisco Sour cocktail, completing a gastronomic and wine experience of the highest standard.

The celebration concluded at Mar Salada, whose reopening restored music and nightlife to one of Club de Mar-Mallorca's most iconic venues, bringing new life to a space long associated with the Club's summer evenings. During the final part of the event, Royal Bliss served an exclusive signature cocktail that accompanied the festivities through to the close of the night. The return of Mar Salada provided the perfect finale to a celebration that marks the beginning of a new tradition for the Club's members and opens an exciting new chapter in its social life.

With ATLAS Vol. 1, Club de Mar-Mallorca adds a new annual event to its calendar, reaffirming its commitment to offering exclusive experiences that combine nautical tradition, Mallorcan identity and a lifestyle deeply rooted in the Mediterranean.
