Club de Mar–Mallorca is entering a new phase after the comprehensive refurbishment of its facilities, relaunching the activity of its sailing section and bringing back some of its most emblematic competitions, while also adding new high-profile events to the sporting calendar.

The first major event of the season will be the Balearic Championship for the International Snipe and OK Dinghy classes, to be held from May 15th to 17th for the first time at the club’s facilities. Organized by Club de Mar–Mallorca in collaboration with the Balearic Sailing Federation, the regatta will bring together leading regional sailors in a key fixture of the Balearic calendar.

One month later, Club de Mar–Mallorca will revive one of its historic competitions: the Trofeo CLUMA ILCA, the club’s main annual dinghy regatta prior to the renovation. The event will take place on June 20 and 21, marking the return of one of the club’s most representative fixtures.

From August 11th to 15th, Club de Mar–Mallorca will once again become an international hub for classic sailing with the 31st Regata Illes Balears. After the record-breaking participation in the 30th edition, which brought together 40 classic and vintage yachts and achieved the highest entry numbers in the event’s history, the regatta will once again gather some of the most iconic classic sailing yachts at the club’s new facilities.

Another major addition to the calendar will be the club hosting, for the first time in its history, the Flying Fifteen International European Championship, scheduled for October 6 to 10. The event is expected to attract around fifty boats.

In addition, Club de Mar–Mallorca will host The Superyacht Cup Palma for the second consecutive year, reaffirming its position as a strategic venue for major international nautical events.

Beyond sailing, the club continues its commitment to other sea-related sports such as kayaking. On May 30th, it will once again organize the Balearic Spring Sea Kayak Cup – 5th CLUMA Canoeing Trophy, expanding its multi-sport calendar.

The new facilities at Club de Mar–Mallorca, which include a dedicated area entirely focused on sport, mark the beginning of an exciting new era in the club’s history, reaffirming its commitment to sporting excellence, the organization of top-level events and the promotion of nautical sports.
