Cala Figuera boosts the adjudication of 25 moorings in its port

The initiative will allow advancing in the attention of the petitions of boats for its assignment in the port.

Ports de les Illes Balears (PortsIB), public entity attached at the Sea and Water Cycle Counselling, has agreed on initiating the procedure of adjudication of 25 moorings in base that belong to the 7th list in the port of Cala Figuera (Santanyí).

The 25 available moorings are distributed in accordance with the dimensions of ships. Concretely, 3 moorings are offered for ships between 4.01 and 5 meters of length; 8 boats of between 5.01 and 6 meters; 8 boats of between 6.01 and 7 meters; 3 for boats between  7.01 and 8 meters; and 3 boats of between 8.01 and 9 meters, with th established corresponding widths for each typology.

The assignation will be carried out following the order of the updated waiting list and in accordance with the indicated characteristics in each request In the case of the generic nature requests, all available options at the moment in accordance with the turn of the interested person will be offered.

Just as the current law established, once the accord is posted in the Official Bulletin of the Balearic Islands (BOIB), requests included in the waiting list won't be modified. The accord will be published in the BOIB and in the web of PortsIB to ensure the maximum transparency and publicity of the procedure.

With this work, PortsIB keeps advancing in the efficient management of the portuary public domain and in the improvement of access to moorings in the ports of autonomic competence.
