More than 100 riders and hundreds of fans enjoyed one of the major national jet ski events over the weekend, which will soon be broadcast on Teledeporte as part of the program Estelas.

YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!The Spanish Championship and Andalusian Jet Ski Championship concluded this Sunday, May 31st, with a brilliant edition in Arcos de la Frontera after an intense weekend of speed, adrenaline and competition. The event brought together some of the best national and international riders in the discipline, once again confirming the Cádiz town as one of the key references in Spanish powerboating.
Organized jointly by the Andalusian Motonautics Federation, the Royal Spanish Motonautics Federation, and the Arcos de la Frontera City Council, the event took place under near-perfect conditions. Exceptional weather allowed both participants and spectators to enjoy two days of true water-based spectacle.
The competition gathered more than 100 riders from different parts of Spain and abroad, while a large number of spectators attended throughout the weekend to closely follow an event that once again stood out for the high competitive level displayed in every category.
Saturday was dedicated to circuit racing, with a total of 15 heats across 7 categories, offering highly competitive and exciting races right up to the final lap.
During this day, Ibiza rider Nadia Prats Palau reached the third step of the podium in the GP0 Women’s category, while her brother, Alejandro Prats Palau, claimed victory in the GP4 category and finished third in GP2.
Sunday featured the Rallyjet discipline, with 6 heats across 6 categories, where riders once again demonstrated an outstanding technical and sporting level.
Notable results included the second place of Balearic rider Enrique Martínez Gamiz in the GP3/F2 Atmospheric category, as well as the third place achieved by fellow Balearic rider Christian Enriquez Ávila in the GP2 category.
One of the most remarkable aspects of the championship was safety. Despite the high number of participants and the intensity of the races over both days, the event took place without any significant incidents, confirming the excellent organizational, coordination, and control work carried out by all involved teams.
In addition to the trophy presentations for this weekend’s races, an awards ceremony was also held to recognize the champions of the Andalusian Jet Ski Circuit, marking the highlight of a season that has once again demonstrated the growth and consolidation of this sport in Andalusia.
A moving tribute was also paid to two professionals from Andalusian motonautics, Enrique Vázquez and Víctor Mejías, in recognition of their work and contribution to the development of the sport.
The success of this edition was made possible thanks to the institutional support of the Regional Government of Andalusia, the Provincial Council of Cádiz, the Arcos de la Frontera City Council, and its Sports Department, led by Oliver Verhoeven, whose commitment was essential to the development of an event that continues to grow year after year.
