The Balearic sailors Maria Gornés, from Club Nàutic Ciutadella, Margalida Perelló, from Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita, Aina Garau, from Club Nàutic s’Arenal, Marc O’Connor and David Ponseti, both from Real Club Náutico de Palma, and Karol Krupski and Daniel Giménez, both from Club de Vela Port d'Andratx, will form part of the ILCA Under21 national teams that will represent Spain at the ILCA 6 and 7 Under21 World Championship.

YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!The Royal Spanish Sailing Federation has announced the ILCA Under21 national teams that will compete at the ILCA 6 and ILCA 7 Under21 World Championship, which will take place in the Irish locality of Dun Laoghaire from August 22nd to 29th, 2025.
As a result of the ILCA 6 ranking, which has been carried out with Spain’s Championship, celebrated in Murcia’s CAR and with Spain’s Cup, with took place in Club Marítimo San Antonio de la Playa, the national ILCA 6 Under21 A team is formed by Adriana Castro (Valencian Federation), Irene de Tomás (Valencian) and Maria Gornés, from Club Nàutic Ciutadella. The complementary spots of this expedition have been conceded to Margalida Perelló, from Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita, Aina Garau, from Club Nàutic s’Arenal, and Ainhoa Gómez (Murciana).
From ILCA 7, after Spain’s Championship in Ibiza (the Cup will take place in october), Marc O’Connor, from Real Club Náutico de Palma, Fernando Abella (Murciana) and Karol Krupski, from Club de Vela Port d'Andratx have been classified into the national A team. The complementary spots have been assigned to Viktor Kateliev (Canary), David Ponseti, from Real Club Náutico de Palma, and Daniel Giménez, from Club de Vela Port d'Andratx.
In addition, Rui Silveira will be the national coach in this Championship.
